How to build a five-minute everyday face
Share
Most days don't need a 12-step routine. Most days need a clean face, a little colour, and about five minutes — maybe six if you're making coffee at the same time. We built our range around that idea, and this is how we'd put it together.
The base
Start with what your skin actually needs. A rinse of water or a gentle cleanse if your skin wants it. Then your moisturiser — the one that disappears in 30 seconds and doesn't pill under anything. Let it settle while you find your shoes.
When you're ready: a tinted moisturiser or a lightweight foundation, patted on with your fingers or a damp sponge. Work from the centre out. You're not painting a wall. You're evening things out and letting what's already good show through.
If you want more coverage somewhere — a redness patch, a spot — dab a little more product on top. Don't rub it in. Just press.
Three minutes of colour
This is the part that takes the face from 'I moisturised' to 'I got dressed'. Three products, in this order:
Blush. A sweep across the apples of your cheeks and up toward your temples. Smile if it helps you find the spot; stop smiling once you're actually blending. A cream formula over your base will melt in fast. A powder takes five seconds longer and gives you a little more control.
Brows. One pass with a tinted gel or a fine pencil to fill any gaps. Follow the direction your hairs already grow. The goal is not drama — the goal is shape. This is the step that makes the rest of the face look intentional.
Mascara. Two coats if you have time. One if you don't. Wiggle the wand at the roots and pull upward. That's it.
One finishing move
A lip product is the fastest way to look like you did more than you did. A tinted balm if you want to barely try. A proper lipstick if you're feeling it. Either way: swipe, press your lips together once, and you're done.
That's your face. Adjust as needed, ignore what you don't need, and get on with your morning.
